Jian Ghomeshi speaks to Marc Naimark of the Federation of Gay Games, who worries that Russia’s “broad and vague” anti-gay laws create a hostile climate for LGBT athletes heading to the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

“What’s going to happen if I come down, I win a medal, and I want to embrace my partner?” said Naimark, adding that such concerns could distract competitors, dull the shine in that post-win moment of glory — or worse.
